The Package
£45,000 per annum
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Working hours: 6:30- 3:00pm

The Job Role
Role of Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering a high-quality, fresh food offering within a busy, high-volume site
Oversee daily food preparation and service, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
Lead and support a team including CDPs and junior chefs, driving standards and development
Assist in menu planning and innovation, maintaining a focus on seasonal, fresh ingredients
Ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service periods
Maintain excellent health & safety and food hygiene standards
Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
Support in managing food cost and kitchen budgets
The Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef within contract catering, education, or high-volume hospitality
Strong fresh food background with a passion for quality ingredients
Experience leading and developing kitchen teams
Highly organised with the ability to perform under pressure
Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A hands-on approach with a positive, team-driven attitude
