Responsibilities
* Assist the Dentist by providing chairside support, ensuring that the correct equipment and materials are available
* Provide support and assistance to a wide array of patients
* Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures
* Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and disinfected
* Accurately complete patient clinical records
* Complete all clinical daily, weekly and monthly logs and checks
Qualifications
* Dedicated to starting a career in Dental Nursing
* Able to commit to a 12-month+ training programme
* Comfortable working in a clinical environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with practice colleagues and a variety of patients
* Excellent organisational skills to keep appointments on time

Apprenticeship Details
The Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing (Level 3) Qualification will include on‑job training, online learning, face‑to‑face training sessions, a record of experience and written and practical exams.
Am I the right person?
Successful candidates must have their certificates to prove GCSE grade C/ 4+ in Maths and English or evidence of a passed Functional Skills course. Learners who do not have certificates can study for their Functional Skills course alongside their Apprenticeship.
