12ab Trainee Traffic Management Operative
Location: Penrith, Cumbria
Hours: General hours of work are 48 hours per week and will include both day and night shift working. In addition to your 48 hours, overtime is also available.
This is a 12-month fixed term position.
Salary: £154.38 per shift depending on location and experience, plus benefits and overtime opportunity.

Your role as a 12ab Trainee Traffic Management Operative
As a key member of our team, you will:
8. Install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment
9. Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
What are we looking for?
Essential:
10. Qualification: Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course (TTMBC)
11. Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago
12. Safety: Candidates must hold a valid safety critical medical certificate
13. Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)
14. Attitude: Positive, “can-do” mindset
15. Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
