Key Responsibilities
You will play a key part in our role as a partner on the National Grid Great Grid Upgrade, a major long term enterprise
This includes:
* Supporting the pre‑construction team in preparing competitive design & build tenders
* Liaising with planners, design managers and preconstruction managers to develop innovative bid solutions
* Identifying market trends, risks and opportunities
* Producing accurate net estimates aligned with Morgan Sindall standards
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience pricing schemes valued £10m+
* Knowledge of Energy Transmission, with exposure to substations, overhead lines or cabling preferred although not essential
* Minimum HNC qualification
* Strong ability to take off quantities
* Proficient in Conquest estimating software
* Strong Excel skills and ability to produce high-quality analytical reports
* Experience in cost planning
* Solid understanding of construction technology and modern techniques
