About the Role We're seeking a confident procurement specialist to lead tendering and contract compliance across a diverse portfolio worth up to £80 million annually within Property Services. You'll oversee the end-to-end procurement processfrom shaping specifications and advising on sourcing strategies to ensuring compliance with Public Procurement Regulations and the Council's Contract Procedure Rules. Working collaboratively with commissioners, operational teams, finance, suppliers and wider procurement colleagues, you'll secure robust contracts that deliver high-quality, cost-effective outcomes. Key to success is building strong relationships, resolving performance issues, driving continuous improvement, and providing insight through performance analysis and clear reporting. About You The ideal candidate will have: Experience developing procurement strategies that meet service and stakeholder requirements Experience leading tendering exercises, including framework agreements Experience developing Sourcing Plans for goods and services, including third sector engagement Good knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations, including European Procurement Legislation Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (OR equivalent experience) Strong written communication skills with ability to write clearly and avoid jargon Please clearly demonstrate how you meet the 6 requirements in your CV and supporting document.
