The Role
We are undergoing an exciting time in our evolution and now seek an experienced and ambitious Lead Business Applications Consultant (Business Central) to join our team and play a key role in executing upon our growth plans within the digital transformation industry.
You will be a seasoned Business Central Functional Consultant with a background in requirements gathering, design, implementation and support of Business Central solutions for the UK SME market. You will also have a natural flair for coaching and developing others, enabling and junior members of our team to develop their skills and maximise their potential.
As a Lead Consultant you will take full ownership of all projects overseeing their successful delivery, whilst also remaining customer facing. This role will also provide assistance and insight to the Xperience Commercial Team to drive product adoption with clients and prospects, and build commercial awareness within our teams.
In this role, you will need a thirst for learning, a passion for people and be able to work collaboratively to leverage and develop the knowledge, skills, and experience within our consultancy team. Key Responsibilities
* Co‑coordinate and collaborate with other Business Applications team members to work towards successful project delivery for our clients
* Work with the Xperience Commercial Team in a pre‑sales capacity to provide demos and quotations and assistance with proposals
* Provide support and mentorship to other Business Applications Consultants acting as a subject matter expert, by sharing knowledge and developing others, through structured training plans
* Carry out project scoping, engaging with our clients to clearly define their wants and needs, reviewing the client’s relevant internal business processes, with a view to designing optimum solutions
* Document client’s requirements and develop accurate project plans guiding our clients through a successful implementation
* Independently oversee project implementation, training and support with the client across:
* System testing
* Develop and maintain a broad product knowledge across the Business Applications ERP portfolio
* Act as a point of escalation for support incidents, within the Business Applications department, providing advice and assistance to aid in the resolution of support incidents
* Provide support to our clients during the project implementation phase
* Work collaboratively across departments and locations, demonstrating company values and behaviours
Person Specification
* 5+ years professional experience working within Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision (2013 version onwards) as demonstrated by having independently led 5 full life cycle implementations
* 3+ years’ experience in design, implementation, support and management of Business Central solutions
* Demonstrable experience of coaching and developing Business Central Functional Consultants
* Ability to assist in developing accurate project plans, with a track record of delivering on budget and on time.
* Ability to accurately estimate effort and time required from the team to deliver the solution the client needs
* Experience in coaching and mentoring other consultants within your field
* Ability and relevant experience in working with clients with a diverse set of requirements across multiple industries
* Full driving licence that allows you to drive in the UK and access to your own vehicle for business use
* Ability to travel throughout the UK as required
* Valid Right to Work in the UK (We do not currently hold a visa sponsorship licence)
* Knowledge/previous experience of the Construction Industry
* Significant experience in using third party solutions such as Continia and Jet Reports
* Working knowledge of Office 365 and how it applies to the Dynamics 365 suite
* Previous experience of D365 Development using C/AL code
* Ability to produce reports in SSRS
* Demonstrable user experience of Power BI or other business intelligence skills
* Previous experience of working in a pre‑sales capacity
