Due to continued growth and success, the business has recently implemented a new MRP system, which will prove crucial in sustaining the brands ongoing development. This role will work closely with the key members of staff within the production and operations teams and will be essential for facilitating company wide learning.

The Job you will do:
* Provide hands-on, face-to-face IT support (“buddy service”) to skilled shop floor operators during the rollout and ongoing use of the new MRP system
* Act as the bridge between IT, production, and operations to ensure confident, effective system adoption
* Provide one-to-one and small-group, on-the-job support to shop floor operators using the MRP system
* Act as a “buddy” during shifts, offering real-time guidance and reassurance when using the system
* Assist operators with day-to-day MRP tasks such as job tracking, material movements, reporting, and data entry
* Translate technical system processes into practical, easy-to-understand instructions relevant to shop floor activities
* Identify user issues, errors, or misunderstandings and resolve them promptly where possible
* Escalate system faults, bugs, or process gaps to the IT or MRP implementation team
* Capture feedback from operators and suggest improvements to system usage, workflows, or training materials
* Support initial training sessions and provide follow-up coaching as required
* Create and update simple user guides, quick-reference sheets, and visual aids for shop floor use
* Promote consistent and accurate use of the MRP system to ensure data integrity and production accuracy
About you:
* Previous experience within an IT support related role- at any level.
* You must be flexible to work anywhere between 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday
* Experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but is not essential
* Experience of training and developing staff in the use of SAGE 200 would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be given.
* Meticulous attention to detail is an absolute must.
* You will be resilient, confident and resourceful.
