Were looking for an energetic and proactive Managed Services Technology Coordinator to join our team at Birmingham Airport. In this hands-on role, youll be the go-to person for all on-site technology needs from troubleshooting IT equipment and maintaining networks to delivering projects that improve operational efficiency.
Please note that this role is a FTC for an initial 6 months.
What youll be doing:
* Providing on-site technology support at Birmingham Airport.
* Tackling a priority list of technical challenges faced by our airport car park operations team.
* Supporting local IT accounts, devices, and network hardware, including Cisco routers and Meraki switches.
* Maintaining and updating asset logs for all IT equipment.
* Installing and supporting hardware, software, and system updates (e.g. CCTV, printers, scanners, digital signage).
* Collaborating with our Technology Service Desk, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
* Ensuring infrastructure is secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
* Proactively identifying technology improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Providing occasional out-of-hours support for critical issues.
