Job Description
An established and growing practice in Berkhamsted are looking for an ACA, ACCA, AAT qualified Accountant that is able to look after an expanding portfolio of clients. The business have expanded in the last 12 months and have many clients that are using the expanding set of services that they are providing.
There are opportunities to expanding your skillset and deal with larger clients and expand your experience of supporting and developing staff within the businesses.
The business has an excellent owner with clients that have supported the growth and expansion. With driven and ambitious plans to expand further, this business is at the start of a great journey that is looking towards 5 years in the future.
Responsibilities:
1. Independently managing a portfolio of clients, including:
2. Limited company statutory accounts
3. Management accounts
4. Sole trader tax returns
5. VAT returns
6. Managing and reviewing work completed by offshore,
teams ensuring high standards and timely delivery
7. Supporting the onboarding of new clients and contributing to the continued growth of the firm
About You:
1. ACA, AAT or ACCA qualification (finalists will be considered)
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a public practice environment
3. Experience managing and reviewing the work of junior staff
4. Experience with Xero
5. Experience with IRIS
6. A proactive, organised, and self-motivated mindset
7. A genuine desire to learn, develop, and progress within a growing firm
