The Role As a Tax Senior, you will take responsibility for managing your own client portfolio, delivering high-quality tax compliance services, and assisting with advisory work.
The position combines hands-on compliance, client relationship management, and mentoring of junior team members offering a clear pathway for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance Prepare and review corporation tax and/or personal tax returns.
Draft computations and supporting schedules, including capital allowances, benefits in kind, and capital gains.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and practical tax advice.
Technical & Advisory Identify tax planning opportunities and support on advisory projects.
Stay up to date with relevant tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
Key Requirements Proven experience in a tax compliance role (practice or in-house).
Strong working knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance processes.
Proficient with tax software (e.g., CCH, Digita, or similar) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
