As a Registered Care Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents while fostering a positive and collaborative environment for staff. Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding, person-centred care services that meet the needs and interests of residents.
* Lead, manage, and support a team of care professionals, providing guidance, supervision, and ongoing development opportunities.
* Recruit, train, and motivate staff to maintain a high-performing team.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent standards of care.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, families, and external agencies to promote the home and its services.
* Manage the home's budget, occupancy levels, and staffing to achieve financial and operational targets.
* Work closely with the Customer Relations Team to implement creative marketing strategies and maintain optimum occupancy.
* Oversee the home's environment, ensuring high standards in food presentation, housekeeping, and maintenance.
* Submit regular management reports on occupancy, fees, budget controls, and staffing.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years\' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality care in a residential setting.
* Experience and knowledge of dementia care.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate requirements.
* Financial management and planning experience.
* Passionate, driven, and resilient with exceptional communication skills.
Day-to-Day
* Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care.
* Provide leadership and support to staff, conducting regular team meetings and one-to-one supervision.
* Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal policies.
* Engage with residents and their families to ensure their needs and preferences are met.
* Collaborate with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to maintain a welcoming and safe environment.
* Analyse and report on key performance indicators, including occupancy and budget management.
