Join to apply for the Treasurer (Trustee) role at Rosie's Trust.
Rosie’s Trust is seeking to appoint a Treasurer/Trustee to oversee the monitoring of the charity’s finances on behalf of the Board of Trustees. The Treasurer will report regularly on finances and ensure proper management of money and property.
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant who will ensure bookkeeping, record keeping, and budgeting are properly managed.
Established in 2015, Rosie’s Trust is Northern Ireland’s only charity caring for people by caring for their pets. It supports cancer patients, end-of-life care recipients, and older people with mobility issues living alone, helping them keep their pets, which are often their main source of emotional support.
Our team of over 200 volunteers cares for beneficiaries’ pets in their homes, providing services such as walks, play, feeding, grooming, medication administration, and vet visits. We also offer foster care and rehoming services. All services are provided free of charge, year-round.
The Board comprises 10 Trustees who meet online monthly, with occasional in-person meetings lasting about 1.5 hours.
Note: Rosie’s Trust employs a Finance Manager, a qualified accountant, working 7 hours a week.
