Job Summary
As a Jobs Plus Employment Coach, you’ll be at the heart of a pioneering community employment hub in Liverpool’s L8 area, supporting residents from 1,000 households to access job opportunities, training, and career progression. This hands-on role involves one-to-one coaching, outreach, and engagement activities to build relationships, raise awareness, and break down barriers to employment. You’ll help people with CVs, applications, interview prep, and job searching, while also signposting them to specialist services for additional support.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the Hub remains welcoming, accessible, and effective, helping to organise community events, employer meet-ups, and engagement sessions. Using coaching techniques, you’ll guide individuals toward sustainable employment or progression into training, education, or volunteering. The role also includes data tracking, maintaining compliance, and contributing to newsletters and social media promotion. £27K pro rata, Liverpool-based, full-time, part-time, or secondment options available—ideal for a proactive, socially driven communicator passionate about creating meaningful change.
