Senior HR Advisor (Schools) - Hereford (Hybrid) £36,759 - £40,161 based on 37 hours per week
Main Purpose of Job: To provide a professional, high-quality advice and support service on the full range of HR matters to schools, academies, school-based staff and external clients. To support the development of the Schools HR function in line with our vision and values, identifying and developing business opportunities with existing and new customers. To develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with customers based on professional credibility, excellent customer-care and solution-focused advice. To advise on the TA Proposal regarding terms and conditions, casework, pre-employment checks and training, acting as the employers representative. To act as the school liaison officer for school based staff. Proactively develop skills and understanding of both the commercial aspect of the organisation and the HR function, providing a commercially focused, value-added service.
Experience: Evidenced experience of advising on a range of HR issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy and TUPE.
Evidenced experience of managing complex HR cases.
Experience of providing advice on Green Book, Soulbury Committee, Burgundy Book, The School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document, School Staffing Regulations, School Governance, Academies Financial Handbook.
Experience of working with or evidence of capability to work with Schools in a HR capacity.
Experience of delivering training sessions.
Experience of working within a Unionised environment and involvement in union consultations.
Experience of project working.
Experience of working with confidential and/or sensitive information.
