We are seeking a motivated Remediation Project Engineer to join a growing geo-environmental team working on a diverse range of development projects. This role offers the chance to be involved in technically interesting work from early assessment through to delivery, contributing to practical and sustainable solutions.
Based in Manchester, the position will suit someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with real-world problem solving. As a Remediation Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting clients, project teams and regulators throughout the planning and construction process.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake contaminated land assessments, including desk studies and interpretative reporting.
Support the design and management of ground investigations and environmental monitoring.
Carry out qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for human health, controlled waters and ground gas.
Develop proportionate remediation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities and project stakeholders.Candidate Requirements:
Experience within ground remediation/contaminated land
Full UK Driving Licence
