The role involves: Picking up and progressing applications to determination. Working independently with minimal supervision. Utilizing IT systems effectively in a remote setting. Conducting site visits with access to transport and flexibility to travel within the area. Contributing immediately and maintaining momentum on key applications during a transitional period. Person Specification Highly experienced in managing major planning applications. Proven track record in planning policy regulations and processes. Knowledge of local government procedures and practices. Understanding of current planning issues and legislation. Experience with Neighbourhood Planning and Section 106 agreements. Public speaking and presentation skills on planning matters. Experience working with Elected Members and providing planning evidence at hearings/inquiries.
