We are seeking an experienced Senior Learning & Development Consultant to join a leading firm in the legal sector on a 12-month interim basis. This is a pivotal role supporting the business through a period of transformation as they deliver a strategic talent development initiative designed to equip their workforce for future challenges.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and implement a learning strategy that addresses current and emerging capability needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skills gaps across fee‑earners and other key populations.
* Design and deliver learner journeys that drive engagement and support professional growth.
* Build credibility and secure buy‑in from stakeholders at all levels.
* Collaborate with external suppliers to deliver high‑quality learning solutions.
* Support the implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS) within the next 12 months.
* Ensure alignment with the organisation’s talent strategy and long‑term objectives.
About You
* Proven experience in senior L&D roles within a legal environment.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Expertise in TNA, learning strategy design, and programme delivery.
* Familiarity with LMS implementation (Workday)and vendor management.
* Ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
