Job Title: Senior Kitchen Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team in an independent school. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to the required standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to motivate and train junior staff members, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
About the Role
* Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to the required standards.
* Lead and manage a section of the kitchen to achieve high standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures and regulations.
* Direct and train junior staff members to ensure they meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of ingredients and mise en place.
2. Food preparation and cooking.
3. Presentation of dishes to the required standards.
4. Management of kitchen resources, including inventory and equipment.
Requirements
* Able to work in a pressurised environment.
