Temporary Administrator
Location: Huddersfield
Duration: 7 Weeks (w/c Jan 5th 2026)
Hours: 23 Hours per Week (To be covered over Monday - Thursday)
Contract: Temporary
Stafflex are currently recruiting for an experienced administrator to support a busy team on a short-term temporary basis. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident juggling multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing day-to-day administrative support over various teams
Processing orders, maintaining accurate records and supporting basic financial administration (invoices, purchase orders, tracking spend)
Managing inboxes, calendars and incoming calls, responding to internal and external enquiries
Preparing, packing and dispatching documents and materials within agreed timescales
Maintaining stock levels and reporting shortages where required
Supporting the coordination of meetings, training sessions and events
Updating internal systems and databases accurately and in a timely manner
Assisting with post-delivery evaluations and reporting feedback to the wider team
Front of house duties including meeting and greeting visitors when required
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal systems/databases
A professional and friendly communication style (phone and email)
The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
A proactive, team-focused approach and willingness to muck in
This role is office-based and would suit someone who enjoys structure, variety and supporting multiple work streams at once.
