AI and Product Development Manager
Reports To: Managing Partner: Operation and AI
Summary of Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking AI and Product Development Manager to lead the discovery, development, and deployment of AI-driven tools, processes, and proprietary products that drive efficiencies and innovation across our performance marketing operations.
This role will sit at the intersection of technology, marketing, and operations, responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities for AI and automation, developing scalable internal and client-facing solutions, and overseeing product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable in strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution.
Responsibilites
* Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI across performance media, reporting, creative, analytics, and client service workflows.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Media, Strategy, Creative, CS, Data) to co-develop use cases and prioritise solutions based on business impact.
* Stay ahead of AI trends, tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Midjourney, Sora, Claude etc…), and agency applications, proposing pilots and tests accordingly.
Product Development
* Collaborate with services leads in the ideation, development, and continuous improvement of proprietary tools and products (e.g. reporting dashboards, media planning tools, AI-assisted campaign generators).
* Own the product roadmap and backlog, coordinating with engineering and data teams (internal or external vendors) for delivery
Project Management
* Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications throughout the lifecycle of each product initiative.
* Ensure quality control and rigorous testing protocols before any internal or external rollout.
Change Management & Enablement
* Partner with leadership to roll out new tools and processes agency-wide, ensuring adoption through training and documentation.
* Act as an internal evangelist for AI adoption and product thinking, helping teams transition toward more tech-augmented workflows.
* Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party AI and MarTech vendors where appropriate.
* Lead build-vs-buy assessments for any tooling needs.
From time to time, you may be required to carry out additional duties to meet the needs of the business, for example carrying out mandatory training or tasks assigned by your Manager.
Person Specification
Knowledge, technology and qualifications:
* Experience: 5+ years in product management, innovation, or marketing technology, ideally within an agency, adtech, or SaaS environment.
* Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (NLP, Gen AI, predictive modeling), APIs, and no/low-code platforms.
* Performance Marketing Acumen: Familiarity with media channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc) attribution, creative testing, and reporting workflows.
Skills or competences:
* Experience with Python, SQL, or platforms like Power Automate, OpenAI, etc
* Familiarity with tools like Zapier, PowerBi, Data Studio, Looker, or similar.
* Preferred, not essential - Background in a marketing agency or high-growth SaaS/startup environment.
