Our client, a leading international centre of excellence in furniture testing and innovation, is currently seeking a Furniture Technician to join their expert team in Kettering on a part-time basis.

️ Role Overview
As a Furniture Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting testing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and conditioning furniture samples for testing
* Assisting in physical testing of items such as mattresses, tables, cabinets, and seating
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in laboratory areas
* Coordinating testing schedules with clients and the Head of Furniture
* Accurately completing and maintaining training records
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* GCSEs in Maths, English & Science (Grade C / Grade 5 or above)
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in the furniture industry
* Familiarity with consumer product testing
* Forklift truck experience
