Role overview: Responsible for the reporting of financial information for the Group, including but not limited to: monthly consolidated management accounts, annual statutory financial information, investor, bank and covenant reporting. Support with Group treasury, including forecasting and supporting with day-to-day banking and treasury management. Key responsibilities: To co-ordinate the accurate and timely reporting of financial information for the Groupincluding monthly consolidated management accounts and annual statutory financial information. To ensure the accuracy of the underlying accounting records of the Group of all entities within the Group, co-ordinating with key stakeholders in overseas subsidiaries as required. To support with the review of financial information and provide commentary on results against budget / forecast / expectations. To manage the monthly consolidation of all Group companies, including the approval of all consolidation adjustments. To lead the preparation of the statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries. To keep up to date with accounting developments and assess the impact of proposed changes on the Group. To manage the year end process, leading the external audit relationship. To support with Group cash forecasting and treasury management. To effectively co-ordinate relevant activities with the rest of the Finance team as appropriate. To work with operational departments on financial matters. To assist with any due diligence or integration project work associated with bringing new acquisitions into the group as required. To provide financial input to multi-functional projects and provide insightful advice and analysis. To provide support to SLT as required with ad hoc analysis for decision making. To provide support to the Head of Finance and Group Tax Manager as required. To provide high service levels to the business. Education and experience requirements: Graduate with strong academic record. Qualified accountant ACA / ACCA with at least 1 years PQE Experience of group consolidations and IFRS accounting standards. Technically strong, with a good understanding of IFRS and minimum requirements of financial control. Able to communicate at all levels to negotiate, persuade and influence others across the business. Able to assess and respond to the needs of the business. Strong analytical ability. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the team in delivering to specific reporting deadlines. A self-starter who proactively challenges status quo and identifies areas for improvement. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and able to work in a collaborative manner.
