Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4 to 16 in a specialist education setting located in Wareham.
This is a primary-focused role with an immediate start, offering a chance to work in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 8.45am to 3.30pm
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a caring, patient and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
You will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils access learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* At least 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with special educational needs
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to the location of the school
* A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help children thrive
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis
* Helping children engage with learning activities and build social skills
* Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management
* Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
