Overview
The role of a CCTV Operator with Cheshire East Council is an exciting, varied role. From monitoring the Town Centre CCTV Cameras across the borough to taking the council’s emergency out-of-hours calls, handling Major Incident calls, monitoring lone worker alarms and more, the work is varied. The role is based within the Emergency Control Centre at Macclesfield; there may be a small requirement to travel. The service covers all aspects of emergency response and CCTV monitoring and is ever growing, so the ability to adapt is essential.
