Job Title: Metal Worker - Naval Project
We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team on a large-scale naval project. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and parts using a variety of techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate metal components and parts using various techniques and equipment
* Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
* Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
* Perform quality control checks on finished products
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and improve efficiency
Requirements:
* Modern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade Papers (required)
* Clear understanding of SHE, COSHH risks awareness and manufacturing processes
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
* Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc
* Background in a major construction / manufacturing environment

* Shift Patterns: Monday to Thursday (07:00 – 16:30), Friday to Sunday (07:00 – 19:30)
* Overtime Rates: Time and a third (Monday to Thursday), Time and a half (Friday), Double time (Saturday and Sunday)
