A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets (E1) is seeking a committed and passionate Part-Time SEND Teacher to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs who is looking for a flexible role within a nurturing school community.
About the Role
As a Part-Time SEND Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes for pupils with a range of SEND needs (including ASD, SEMH, MLD, and Speech & Language needs).
* Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to provide high-quality interventions.
* Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual pupils.
* Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to EHCP reviews.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEND (primary experience preferred)
* A strong understanding of differentiated teaching and personalised learning
* Excellent communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills
* A nurturing approach and a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
