Hays are working with a key housing and care organisation across the UK, and are looking for workers to join our pool of candidates, and would be available to pick up ad hoc shift cover at a number of their essex services.
Your new role
Each site will have varying needs, with the main role being to support the day-to-day needs of the service users, to allow them to live with some semblance of independence and dignity. The main services we currently provide to are in the following locations:
1. Halstead
2. Alresford
3. Colchester
We have also previously had work in the following locations:
4. Wivenhoe
5. Clacton
6. Braintree
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have at least 6 months of UK-based experience in a social care or housing setting, ideally within an adult supported living service. You will also need to have or be willing toplete all mandatory care training courses.
Ideally, you will have access to a car to attend shifts, especially as some shifts can be called in at short notice, and are not always easy to reach by public transport.
