The Company's continued growth has led to an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to develop the growing our online marketplace platform.
Key Activities:
* Development of the 24/7 marketplace concept.
* Promote the use of marketplace within the existing sales team and outside companies/bodies.
* Manage/utilise equipment sales team to sell marketplace stock.
* Promote and establish council/public body business using existing sales channels.
* Performance based bonus
* 30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays.
* Early finish on Fridays
* Christmas shutdown.
The Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience of Business Development Management.
* Experience of running a successful sales team with individual team targets.
* Analytical with previous experience in preparation of sales plans and reports.
* Strategic, results driven individual with commercial business acumen.
* Proven track record in key account acquisition.
* Strong management skills, including performance management, coaching, succession planning and career development.
* Track record of delivering results in fast paced competitive industry.
* Understanding of CRM systems.
* Knowledge of sales within commercial vehicles, construction equipment sector.
