Responsibilities
As a Senior Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading the team and supporting the delivery of exceptional service across all F&B areas, including Restaurants, Bars, Room Service, Brew Bar, and Conference & Events.
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead by example with a consistently positive attitude, professional appearance, and on‑brand communication.
* Supervise F&B supervisors and associates, motivating and guiding the team to meet operational and guest service expectations.
* Assist in coaching, training, and developing associates, ensuring continuous improvement and skill growth.
* Support performance reviews and contribute to talent development and succession planning.
Operational Excellence
* Oversee daily operations across all dining outlets, bar service, room service, and conference & event spaces.
* Demonstrate full operational versatility, switching between floor service, bartending, barista duties, hosting, banqueting service and event‑space set‑ups as required.
* Support departmental planning, rota management, and resource allocation to maintain productivity and service quality.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all F&B operational areas.
Guest Service & Brand Standards
* Act as a role model in guest hospitality, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
* Meet guests informally during service periods to gather feedback and ensure guest satisfaction.
* Take ownership of guest complaints, resolving issues proactively and professionally.
* Ensure all associates understand and deliver Marriott brand service culture and standards.
Financial & Business Support
* Support the F&B Services Manager in driving financial performance, managing labour productivity, and monitoring departmental costs.
* Understand budgets, forecasts, and operational financial goals, contributing to decisions that improve performance.
* Oversee compliance with licensing laws, alcohol service regulations, and Marriott cash‑handling procedures (including blind banking).
Communication & Administration
* Maintain effective communication channels through departmental logs, team briefings, and hotel meetings.
* Assist with reservations, group enquiries, and other revenue‑generating activities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and food hygiene regulations.
Safety and Company Policies
* Follow all company safety and security procedures.
* Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately.
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
* Foster positive working relationships and support the team to achieve shared goals.
* Uphold quality expectations and Marriott operational standards.

Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will bring one of the following:
* A high school diploma or GED, along with 4 years’ experience in Food & Beverage, culinary operations, or a related hospitality environment.
* OR a 2‑year hospitality or business‑related degree (e.g., Food Service Management, Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management) paired with 2 years’ F&B experience.
This experience will have equipped you with strong operational awareness, guest‑focused service skills, and a solid understanding of F&B standards in a hotel or similar setting.

* Confident with cash handling, following company policies including blind banking, reconciliation, and audit standards.
* Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and varied shifts.
* Responsible with systems access, ensuring Kronos, Micros, and other login details are managed securely.
* Willing to support additional duties as business needs evolve, always upholding Marriott standards and policies.
