The Role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher for the full duration of the Spring and Summer terms. You will lead a class of 25 children, supported full-time by an experienced HLTA, ensuring a smooth, well-structured learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
Ensuring strong pupil progress through effective planning and assessment
Working closely with parallel Year 2 teachers in a supportive 3-form entry structure
Creating a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere
Minimum Criteria
To be considered, candidates must have:
At least 1 year of recent Year 2 teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
Excellent communication and organisational skills
