Job Description
Overview:
Sussex Community Dermatology Services (SCDS) are one of the largest independent providers of NHS dermatology services in the UK. We are seeking a 3rd Line Support Technician to join our in-house IT Helpdesk within the healthcare sector.
This contract will be for an initial 1 month period, with a strong possibility to extend up to 3 months.
We are offering a hybrid model of working with 2 days in Brighton and 3 days remotely (with potential travel to Worthing)
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve complex technical issues escalated from 1st and 2nd line support
* Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
* Maintain systems, documentation, and support continuous improvements
What we're looking for:
* Strong 3rd line technical support experience
* Solid understanding and hands-on use of ITIL practices
* Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping embed and reinforce ITIL ways of working across the service desk
* Experience working in structured, customer-focused environments (healthcare experience is a plus)
