Job Description
Store Manager & Assistant Manager
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service
* Manage store operations, including stock management, merchandising, health and safety, and financial targets.
* Ensure a positive, memorable experience for every customer by sharing expert product knowledge and advice.
* Maintain an attractive and well-organised store environment aligned with Evans Cycles brand standards.
* Coach and train your team continuously, helping them develop skills and product knowledge.
* Drive store performance through sales targets, KPI tracking, and innovative sales strategies.
* Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and cash handling.
Cycle Technician/Supervisor Technician
* Oversee the workshop team, ensuring high-quality repairs, servicing, and safety checks.
* Lead by example with hands-on mechanical expertise and customer-focused service.
* Manage workshop inventory, tools, and equipment.
* Provide clear, friendly advice and support to customers on bike maintenance and upgrades.
* Maintain high standards of workshop safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

* Proven leadership experience in retail, preferably within cycling, sports, or outdoor sectors.
* Genuine passion for cycling and a solid understanding of bikes and cycling products.
* Exceptional communication, organisation, and motivational skills.
* Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
* Confident, approachable, and able to foster a positive team culture.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts in line with store hours.
