Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – Glossop (Job Ref: 11660)
We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term 12‑month contract to work at our 451‑branch located at 77 High Street East, Glossop, SK13 8PN.
Shift Pattern
* Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, with specific responsibility for providing support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
Receive prescriptions and hand out prescription items, and assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are required.
Great people skills are paramount.
