The roles will be 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. Cover on a Wednesday will be required until 8pm to support group work in an off-site location within Nottingham. The successful candidate will also be required to join a rota system to cover weekend and bank holidays. Part-time hours/job share will also be considered at a minimum of 18.75 hours per employee.

You will work under the supervision and guidance of registered therapists within the multidisciplinary team to provide therapy assessment and rehabilitation to patients with Parkinson's disease in an OP setting. The majority of the work takes place at city campus but you will be expected to be able to work at both sites and potentially in community settings to meet service needs as required.

Main duties of the job

You will also be required to provide speech and language rehabilitation and support. There are numerous groups occurring during the week that will require support worker attendance.

You will need excellent communication skills to work with our patients, their relatives, and carers and with the wider MDT.

You will have non-clinical responsibilities such as data collection, equipment management, and stock levels as well as other admin and housekeeping duties.
