Routine Maintenance Management System (RMMS) Administrator

Job Description
The M25 is one of our flagship projects in the UK, carrying over 200,000 vehicles per day. To keep this critical infrastructure operating smoothly, we have established a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to manage the M25 under a 30‑year contract. We are looking for a dedicated RMMS/System Administrator to manage and maintain the Brightly Confirm asset management system for the M25 Strategic Road Network. In this role, you will work closely with IT, highways maintenance teams and external stakeholders to optimise system performance and support routine maintenance management.
Responsibilities
* Manage the Confirm (Routine Maintenance Management) system, ensuring it operates efficiently and is regularly updated.
* Provide technical support and training to system users, including maintenance teams, planners, data analysts and management.
* Maintain data integrity, accuracy and compliance within the system, ensuring accurate records of assets, inspections, work orders and maintenance activities.
* Tailor system settings, workflows and reporting structures to align with operational requirements.
* Identify and implement system and data enhancements to maximise efficiency in maintenance planning and asset management.
* Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and Highways England/National Highways to ensure system alignment with strategic objectives.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a System Administrator, Analyst or Engineer managing Brightly Confirm or an equivalent asset management or routine maintenance management system.
* Strong understanding of highways maintenance operations and asset management principles.
* Proficiency in SQL, database management and system configurations.
* Experience with GIS mapping tools, APIs and system integrations.
* Ability to analyse data, generate reports and optimise system workflows.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Knowledge of IT security, data protection and compliance frameworks.
* Experience working in highways, transportation or infrastructure environments.
* Familiarity with cloud‑based systems and mobile workforce solutions.
* IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, SQL) are an advantage.
