Junior CAD Technician - Position Remuneration
Base salary: £22,000-£26,000 per year, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Holidays: Standard company holiday allowance plus bank holidays

Junior CAD Technician - Position Overview
Assist in the preparation and updating of CAD drawings for demolition and enabling works projects
Produce site layout plans, demolition sequences, and temporary works drawings under supervision
Support the pre-construction and estimating teams with technical drawings for tenders and bids
Amend drawings based on site surveys, engineer input, and project requirements
Work closely with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate and buildable
Maintain organised drawing registers and document control systems
Develop technical, CAD, and industry knowledge through ongoing training and exposure to live demolition and construction projectsJunior CAD Technician - Position Requirements
Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or similar), gained through education, training, or early work experience
Qualification or current study in CAD, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential)
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
understanding of technical drawings (training will be provided)
Good organisational skills and ability to manage simple tasks and deadlines
