Are you an experienced Criminal Defence Solicitor looking to join a respected team and work on complex, high-profile criminal cases?
A leading Top 200 law firm, recognised as one of the best in the country, is expanding and seeking an accomplished Criminal Defence Solicitor to join its dynamic team in Leeds, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
* Representing clients at police stations
* Advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court
* Preparing cases and developing effective strategies
* Advising clients across a wide range of criminal offences
This is a client-facing position that requires excellent advocacy skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage complex cases independently.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with at least four years’ PQE in Criminal Defence
* Demonstrable experience in police station, Magistrates’ and Crown Court work
* Strong advocacy and case management abilities
* Higher Rights of Audience are highly desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage a busy caseload
