Your Day-to-Day Impact Exciting Opportunity: Become a Key Lecturer and Inspire Learners! We are looking for a passionate and committed Lecturer to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering outstanding teaching and mentoring to our Engineering students. In this position, you will: Deliver and assess specialist units in Electrical and Electronic Principles, PLCs, Microcontrollers, Process Control, Electronic Measurement and Testing and industrial electrical systems. Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and engaging teaching materials to support student learning. Monitor learner progress, set meaningful targets and provide high-quality personal tutoring support. With a strong focus on safeguarding, health and safety, equality, and diversity, you’ll uphold college policies and continuously develop your professional skills through training and CPD. You will also be responsible for: Ensuring compliance with quality standards and college policies Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives The ideal candidate will have: A degree, apprenticeship or substantial industrial experience in electrical or electronic engineering. Strong technical knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Principles, PLCs, Microcontrollers, Measurement and Testing and industrial control systems. Experience (or willingness to train) in teaching and assessment within Further/Higher Education.
