Manufacturing Engineer – 12 months Fixed Term Contract
This role will drive continuous improvement and sustainable manufacturing practices within a leading organisation specialising in cutting-edge technology. They are based in a state-of-the-art facility where you can witness products go from concept to delivery.
You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment. They manufacture cutting-edge technology that is revolutionising the industry, and this role will have a significant impact on the business. Experience in writing standards, work instructions, and creating process flows would make you a strong fit for this role.
This role is a 50/50 split between working inside and outside a cleanroom.
What You’ll Do:
Support manufacturing operations with engineering expertise
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implement lean manufacturing techniques
Work closely with NPI teams to ensure seamless product introductions
Use Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving toolsWhat We’re Looking For:
3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering
Strong knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma
Ability to analyse manufacturing data and optimise production processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
