About the Job We have a fantastic opportunity for a creative, detail-focused Copywriter to join our Warhammer Community team in Nottingham. If you have a deep understanding of the Warhammer IP and can produce articles that engage, inform and inspire both existing and new hobbyists, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Copywriter, you'll be responsible for producing exceptional written content across the Warhammer Community website. From our showcase Preview Shows, miniature and rules reveals, to short-form news content, features, live events coverage and regular hobby articles, your creative writing style will generate excitement among our fans while upholding Games Workshop's style, clarity and tone. Collaborating closely with editors, other writers, and designers, you'll be developing and producing a range of editorial content. You'll not only know the difference between an ork, an orc and an orruk, but you'll know exactly what fans of each faction want to know when a new miniature or book is released - because you'll be just as excited as them! You'll also conduct journalistic interviews with colleagues across Games Workshop and beyond, including game designers, Black Library authors and 'Eavy Metal painters, as well as others who can provide insight and depth to our articles. Your meticulous attention to detail and adaptable approach will enable you to manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines with ease. You'll ensure all content stays on brief, delivering high quality work at pace without ever compromising on accuracy. The ideal person will have professional writing experience, be comfortable working with in-house style guides and demonstrate an excellent command of written English. Your inquisitive and proactive mindset will ensure you stay up to date on trends in consumer engagement so we continue to produce content that inspires our fans. Experience using Wordpress or similar content management systems would be a distinct advantage. If writing is your passion and you thrive in a creative environment that values open communication and collaboration, then we'd love to hear from you! Working at Games Workshop At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience. The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking. In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme.
