Mechanical Fitter - East Grinstead (RH19)
Pay: £18-20 per hour (Umbrella)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join a specialist engineering business in East Grinstead. The company designs and builds bespoke machinery and production handling systems, and is now looking for a skilled fitter to support their growing projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
Mechanical fitting within a special purpose machinery or conveyor systems background
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Assembling, installing, and maintaining complex mechanical systems
Working confidently with a variety of tools and mechanical components
Solving problems on the job with precision and initiativeThe role will involve:
Assembling and fitting bespoke mechanical components and systems
Installing, testing, and commissioning machinery and equipment
Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs where needed
Collaborating with engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues
