Role Overview
* Position: Science Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
* Location: Clacton:on:Sea, Essex
* Pay Rate: GBP140 : GBP170 per day (Weekly PAYE)
* Contract: Full:Time / Long:term
* Start Date: January 2026

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and teach high:quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students who may find Science challenging.
* Track student progress and implement effective interventions to ensure no student is left behind.
* Maintain a safe and organised laboratory environment in accordance with CLEAPSS guidelines.
* Attend parents evenings and contribute to the schools extra:curricular Science Week activities.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A relevant degree in a Science:based subject.
* A resilient and patient approach to classroom management.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing ).
