We're looking for a Digital Learning Designer to transform our apprenticeship training into engaging and interactive online experiences.
In this role, you'll use your creativity and technical expertise to design interactive sessions, workbooks, videos, and standalone digital resources that keep learners engaged and help them succeed. Our programmes focus on Horticulture, Facilities Management, and Property Maintenance, and you'll work closely with our subject matter experts to make sure everything is accurate and aligned to apprenticeship standards.
You don't need to be a subject expert in these fields — we've got that covered. What we need is your digital learning design skills: knowing which platforms, tools, and techniques will make online sessions exciting, accessible, and effective. Experience with apprenticeships or vocational training would be a distinct advantage, but creativity, digital know-how, and attention to detail are the essentials.
What you will do:
* Design and deliver engaging online sessions for small groups (around 8 apprentices).
* Develop interactive digital resources: workbooks, assignments, mock assessments, revision materials.
* Produce videos and standalone learning content for both apprenticeships and future commercial courses.
* Recommend and use digital design platforms (e.g. Canva, Articulate, Adobe, AI tools) to enhance learning.
* Work with subject experts to ensure resources meet apprenticeship requirements and EPA preparation.
* Keep learning experiences focused, interactive, and aligned to standards.
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience designing interactive digital or online learning content.
* Skilled use of design and e-learning tools (Canva, Articulate, Adobe, video editing, AI platforms).
* Creative ideas for engaging online delivery.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines while working remotely.
* Apprenticeship or vocational training experience (desirable, but not essential).

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
