Job Summary
We are seeking a positive and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a professional yet friendly demeanour, ensuring smooth office operations and effective communication. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our office environment and providing excellent support to both staff and clients
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations, including filing, data entry, and clerical tasks.
* Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Assist in scheduling appointments, booking hotels for engineers and purchasing support team members.
* Handle correspondence, including emails and postal mail, with attention to detail.
* Support financial tasks using finance package for invoicing and expense tracking.
* Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance productivity.
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles.
* Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications is required.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Prior clerical experience will be beneficial in this role. We encourage candidates who are eager to contribute positively to our team while developing their administrative skills in a supportive environment.
Training
* We will train and support you through each aspect of the role, should you be successful.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
