The Role:
Due to progressive growth, an opportunity has become available for a 3D CAD Apprentice to join our team. In this strategically important and challenging role you will be required to:
* Design components and create assemblies for new and existing product ranges.
* Produce manufacturing drawings and technical documents.
* Manage own work activities to agreed deadlines.
* Enrol in and complete our fully funded NVQ L2/L3 Apprenticeship Scheme.
* Single shift pattern, Monday - Thursday and Friday
The Person:
The successful candidate will understand or be willing to learn the processes involved in high-quality, high-volume manufacturing. Applicants should therefore possess the following attributes:
* Team player with good communication skills and a "Can Do" attitude.
* Reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic
* Ability to be creative, logical, and practical with a keen interest in technology.
* Must be smart and well presented.
* You will be naturally hard-working results focused, and enthusiastic.
* Proficient with AutoCAD / Inventor / Vault software platforms and have good general telephone and computer skills.
* Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
* Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks and be responsive to changing demands and situations.
