Role: Locum Clinical Pharmacist
Banding: Band 6-8a
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: April 2025 (with possible extension)
Hours: Flexible, accepting 3 days per week
Rate: £23 – £39 per hour
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking two experienced Clinical Pharmacists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience working in wards and hospitals. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
You will provide clinical pharmacy services in hospital wards. You will ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. You will conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters.
Requirements:
* Education and Qualifications:
o GPhC Registered.
o 1 year pre-registration training.
o Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
o Prior NHS hospital experience, particularly in clinical ward areas.
* Skills and Knowledge:
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
o Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
