THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE
As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime and support continuous operations across the site.

Pay:£45,000.00 per year
Shifts:
* PANAMA Shift 6am to 6pm /6pm to 6am 3 on 2 off
* Full rota provided in advance
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedule and documentation standards
* Respond quickly to plant and production breakdowns, prioritising urgent issues
* Repair equipment efficiently to minimise downtime and support production flow
* Maintain a clean and safe engineering workshop and uphold site safety practices
* Assist with the management of engineering job lists and shift handovers
* Communicate effectively with the Engineering Manager, Shift Supervisors, and other departments
* Support compliance by ensuring PPE, Safe Working Procedures, and housekeeping standards are followed
* Monitor spare parts and report critical requirements to management

Requirements:
* Engineering/maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Proactive approach to maintenance and health & safety
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts and handle unplanned tasks as needed
