Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join our Administrative Team.
The post holder will provide comprehensive admin support to the Knowsley/St Helens/Warrington/Halton Senior Leadership team. Base working only – supporting Microsoft Teams meetings, but may be required to attend face‑to‑face meetings in any of the four boroughs. Successful applicants will be able to organise their own workload and coordinate workload activities within the team, have excellent interpersonal skills, work to tight deadlines, withstand the pressure of a busy department and work on their own initiative.
Some travel between sites is also required.
Main Duties
The post holder will work with minimal supervision, demonstrate flexibility, and use their own initiative to carry out duties in a way that offers a direct, positive contribution to the organisation, enabling the leadership team to utilise their time efficiently and effectively.
As an experienced Personal Assistant/Secretary, you will:
* manage the diaries of the leadership team;
* arrange internal and external meetings;
* take comprehensive minutes and produce reports, chase outstanding actions, and prepare meetings in advance;
* maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to Trust Policies and Procedures.

Essential Qualifications
* RSA III (or equivalent) – Word Processing
* Proven competence in various IT packages – Audio typing skills
* Business Administrator – Level 3 (or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications
* RSA (or equivalent) Shorthand qualification at approximately 80 wpm
* ECDL qualification
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience of working at a similar level with proven admin/secretarial skills
* Experience of proven competence in minute taking
