Proposals Engineer
Location: Colchester Area
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4pm
Are you an experienced Engineer from the acoustic, manufacturing, fabrication, production or construction sectors? Our client near Colchester is seeking a Proposals Engineer to join their growing team and support the Commercial Manager in preparing bids and tenders for bespoke acoustic and noise control solutions.
Duties:
Prepare and manage bids, tenders and client quotations
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
Conduct site surveys and assist in technical design and estimating
Coordinate sales and marketing activities including digital content, tenders, and trade shows
Support the delivery team with project handovers and technical documentationRequirements:
Background in acoustic engineering, manufacturing, or construction
Strong technical and estimating skills
Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD experience preferred
Engineering qualification desirable
Full UK driving licence and own transport essentialSalary and benefits:
£38,000 - £45,000 DOE
