Whittucks Road is a mental health inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Hanham looking for an enthusiastic, proactive administrator for a diverse and challenging role. The duties of a Clinical Service Administrator are to provide admin support to the ward clinical team and managers, making their working day easier.
Typical Responsibilities
* Daily administrative tasks such as greeting visitors/family, handling incoming telephone calls, updating patient files and dealing with confidential information
* Admissions and discharges, ordering stationery and clinical/ward stock supplies, non-stock ordering using appropriate software packages
* Arranging meetings and ward rounds, occasional minute-taking as required
* Liaising with ward managers, staff and a wide range of people including patients, families, GPs, other healthcare and social care professionals
* Using a wide range of electronic systems; aptitude for processes would be useful
This is a varied, busy role that requires flexibility, boundary setting and the ability to adapt to constant changes in workload. The post holder will have the opportunity to attend numerous training courses, receive regular peer and formal supervision from the Lead Administrator and an annual appraisal.
